Carrie was elected to represent Ward 8: Wilmot in 2018 and acclaimed in 2022.
She has been a Government of Prince Edward Island employee since 2009. Areas of employment experience have been with the Western School Board, English Language School Board, Treasury Board Secretariat, Department of Transportation, Infrastructure & Energy, Department of Education and Lifelong Learning and Department of Finance.
Carrie has been appointed Council Representative for Governance, Human Resources & Communications, Vice Chair of the Finance Committee, Chair of Emergency Services, and Chair of the Communications & Engagement Ad Hoc Committee.
Carrie is married to Shawn and they live in Meadow Heights. Carrie has three children (Tanner, Jasmin and Caleb) and two grandsons (Brighton and Wilder).
