Councillor Justin Doiron was first elected to office in November 2018 and again in 2022. He was appointed Chair of Planning Board and council representative to Technical Services.
After attending Moncton Flight College as a Commercial Pilot, he decided to settle back in Summerside where he works as Production Manager and Designer at Sign Station. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Navy and a driving instructor at the Atlantic Driving Academy in Moncton, NB.
Justin has been a firefighter with the Summerside Fire Department since 2014 and has a Level 2 firefighting certificate, Medical First Responder certificate, as well as several other certifications within the Fire Service including Hazardous Materials Awareness, Thermal Imaging and Pump Operation. Justin is currently a Lieutenant with the Rescue Company.
He lives with his wife Kendra and sons Jett and Hogan.
