Celebrate Deserving Contributions
Each year the City hands out a number of awards recognizing the contributions of those who work to make Summerside the great community that it is.
Annual Community Awards:
- Citizen of the Year (George Key Senior Memorial Award)
- Good Neighbour of the Year for Non-Residents (Frances O. Perry Memorial Award)
- Youth of the Year
- Mayor’s Medal of Honour
- Volunteer of the Year (W. David Loggie Memorial Award)
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Champion (New award for 2023)
- Queen Elizabeth Park - Legend's Field Honour Roll
