This Official Plan is enabled by the Planning Act and accords with its procedural and substantive requirements, as well as with other applicable policies and regulations of the Province of Prince Edward Island concerning land use, development and the environment.
The Plan applied to all lands within the boundaries of the City of Summerside, and consideration was given to interrelationships between the City and surrounding areas.
