Leger Park is named in honor of former Governor-General Jules Leger who served in that post from 1973-1979.
Features to the park include:
- A fully accessible splash pad
- New play structures (Summer 2018)
- Basketball court(s)
- Protective rubber surfaces around all play structures
- Accessible walkways
- Washroom construction will commence Autumn 2018
