For over 100 years Summerside Electric has provided electricity to the community of Summerside, delivering dependable service in the safest and lowest cost ways possible, all with great service levels for our customers.
Summerside Electric is a wholly-owned utility of the City of Summerside and operates under the requirements of the Electric Power Act and the Renewable Energy Act.
Summerside Electric owns and operates a fully integrated system providing for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity to customers throughout the City of Summerside.
Summerside Electric, our officials, directors and staff are also all
dedicated to providing electrical service to our community in an
environmentally conscious means.
