Get Active
The City of Summerside has so much to offer athletes of all levels — professional, amateur, and recreational — as well as those interested in general wellness, fitness, and having fun with others.
There are many ways you can be active within our great City, including:
- a multi-sectional aquaplex, bowling alley, walking track, multi-purpose dome, and two skating rinks at our main recreational facility—Credit Union Place
- three baseball fields and a t-ball field at Queen Elizabeth Ball Park
- an artificial turf to play soccer or football on at Credit Union Place
- multiple beach volleyball courts at Credit Union Place
- tennis courts (Credit Union Place and Wilmot Community Centre)
- a skateboard and BMX bowl
- a sidewalk and trail system that runs throughout our City
Whether you want to round some friends up for a rousing game of hockey, football, or soccer or you’re more into a solitary walk on a trail, there’s something for everyone who wants to get up and move.
