For the well-being of our residents, we’ve established bylaws to ensure a safe, clean, healthy, functioning community. By enforcing bylaws, and by extension the National Building Code, and assisting builders, designers, and homebuilders, we ensure that our structures are safe for many years to come.
Per the City of Summerside Building Bylaw, we issue building permits for the construction, alteration, renovation, demolition, and certain changes of use of buildings. Building permits are also issued for the installation of signage, fences, and pools.
