Children should be warned to never play near storm water drainage areas. These areas can look like inviting play areas, especially following a heavy rainfall, but can be very dangerous to anyone who enters. Storm drainage areas can create hazardous conditions and can hold water deep enough to pose a drowning risk.
Please avoid a tragedy and caution your children to stay away from storm water basins.
If you see someone in distress in a storm water drainage area, call 911.
