Football, Soccer, and More
Constructed in July 2009, the synthetic turf field at Credit Union Place is located north of Willow Avenue, next to the tennis courts and beach volleyball courts. It is used for a variety of sports including:
- Soccer (the field includes a 76mx108m regulation soccer field with turf end zones)
- Tackle football
- Flag football
The turf has been used to host local, provincial, regional, and national games including:
- Canada Games women’s soccer
- Summerside Cooke Insurance Clippers
- Holland College Hurricanes
- PEI Tackle Football League championship game
- Summerside United Soccer Club
